Ernest Spiros Angelos, the son of the Honorable Spiros E. Angelos of the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas, is a Partner with Raffaele Puppio. His goal is to provide clients with reasonable approaches to complex life and legal situations and to instill confidence in them through professionalism and diligent representation. He focuses his practice on municipal and educational law, business litigation, real property, contracts and tax assessment appeals representing multiple taxing authorities and taxpayers.

As a Greek American, Ernie is a dedicated member of the St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Media, Pennsylvania. Growing up he regularly visited his grandfather’s diner in Northeast Philadelphia and grew an appreciation for the hard work and dedication it takes to be a successful entrepreneur. Today, Ernie has a passion for assisting similar entrepreneurs and has represented numerous contractors, construction companies, and restaurant owners.

Ernie’s legal prowess has been recognized with many honors and awards over the years. He has been named among the Delaware County Daily Times’ Best Lawyers in litigation several times and was named among the area’s top lawyers by Main Line Times in the area of business law in 2017 and 2018.

Ernie is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Delaware County Bar Association where he previously served as the event coordinator for the Young Lawyers Section. He is active in the criminal defense, education and real property sections of the Delaware County Bar Association. He is a charter member of the West Chester Rotary Act Club for young professionals where he served as the founding Treasurer.  He also currently serves as a member of the Western Delaware Valley Lions Club.

Ernie graduated from the University of Delaware in 2003 with a Bachelor’s Degree in political science and earned his Juris Doctorate in 2007 from the Widener University Delaware Law School. Ernie currently resides in Thornbury with his wife and son.
